Branding

  • Research to determine where the brand fits in the marketplace which involves interviewing key stakeholders in your company and a handful of customers; audit to determine the type and number of assets we’ll need to flip to the new brand; architecture i.e. how your company presents itself e.g., one main logo or many, etc.

  • Positioning includes foundational messaging such as mission, vision, tagline, brand promise, etc. This is also where we establish tone of voice

  • Logo design and production in all formats + letterhead (print and digital), business cards, envelope, email signatures, LinkedIn personal banners, etc.

  • Logos, fonts, color palette, all graphic elements, all defined copy standards, and any additional guidelines associated with your brand.

  • Design easy-to-use editable Word and PPT templates + Adobe templates for marketing materials, e.g. sell sheets, case studies, etc.

  • Direct and design website overhaul working with internal or freelance web/UX designers, content writers, and web developers.

  • Foundational materials/templates for all channels including profile logos and banners per channel, as well as social media templates suited for a variety of posts.

  • Establish and oversee project plan for content and asset redesign - documentation, marketing materials, tradeshow booths, videos, emails, ad campaigns, landing pages, etc.

  • Design and produce new tradeshow booth assets in accordance with the new brand, and create a plan for rollout.

  • Review and oversee revision of videos with old branding (as it makes sense to redo), working with ih-house or freelance video editors.

  • Direct internal and external communications (customer emails, PR, employee training) to announce the brand. Develop strategy for ongoing brand awareness.

Content Creation

  • Digital includes: eBooks, infographics, case studies, sell sheets, white papers, etc.

  • Print includes: brochures, catalogs, annual reports, magazine ads, posters, signage, direct mailers, etc.

  • Designing and writing memorable and cohesive PPC, display, social ads and conversion optimized landing pages to drive traffic and secure leads.

  • Templates + corporate, sales pitch decks, etc.

  • I work directly with tradeshow teams and vendors to design graphics for multiple sized and configured tradeshow booths to draw in the most amount of traffic + promotional giveaways, and all associated marketing assets.

  • Includes writing and editing scripts, developing storyboards, and working closely with video editors to create a variety of videos (solution, industry, commercials, etc.). Also, I can make quick videos using platforms like Canva, Crello and Lumen5 designed to capture attention in the digital space.

  • Nowadays, folks rely on stock photography, but if you want a unique brand, photoshoots are the way to go, which is why I add it to the content creation section. In my career, I’ve coordinated and directed countless photoshoots, which involves a variety of steps such as hiring appropriate photographers, model casting, location scouting, styling, permits, security, catering, etc.

Website Design

  • Designing and building content within a theme developed by WordPress, SquareSpace, WIX, Weekly, etc.

  • Designing files in Adobe XD and directing web developers to code according to design parameters

Illustration

  • I use Illustrator to craft stylized scenes that fit your narrative. I understand this well having been an Art Director for multiple magazines.

  • Nothing is more satisfying for both of us than crafting a unique piece of art that can be used for fabric, wallpaper, or, even, coloring books.
